Ashford Gateway Plus

The opportunity

Ashford Gateway Plus is a new centre building on the successes of the existing Ashford Gateway and is a partnership which includes Kent Libraries and Archives, Ashford Borough Council, KCC Gateway, Adult Education, Social Services and the Community and Voluntary sector and many more.

Volunteers will enhance the overall service we are able to provide to our customers, by welcoming customers to the Gateway. Providing assistance to customers in navigating the building and promoting Gateway services.
We are expecting a high volume of customers to the new Gateway, especially as we bring together a number of new services for the first time.

There will be a rota for volunteers, offering a choice of days and times. Volunteers would normally offer a minimum of 3 hours each week.

Our volunteers extend and enrich the services we provide; many activities that we run would not be possible without their support. Volunteering is a great way to help your community and make a real difference to people's lives.
Volunteering is a great way to gain experience in a new area, learn new skills, and make friends in a supported environment.

Hours of Operation:
Monday to Thursday 9am to 8pm
Friday and Saturday 9amto 6pm

Volunteering is flexible and hours will be available to suit individuals.
