In addition to the advice service that Ashford Borough Council
provide through their Housing Plus service at the Ashford and Tenterden
Gateways, there are also other services suc as advicegateway.org
which is a site that has brought together lots of useful
advice, information and links together for you. Other

Multilingual Housing Advice
The Multikulti website
currently provides information in 10 community languages, and
the housing section covers 8 subject headings, including advice
about applying as homeless, domestic violence and finding a private
rented place to live.

Housing Information For People With Learning Disabilities
The Ashford District Partnership Group for Learning
Disabilities is a community group, people with learning
disabilities have developed an accessible website that includes
information on housing and this can be viewed on the Ashford District
Partnership Group website.
Porchlight
Porchlight is a charity
that supports vulnerable and homeless people in Kent.
They have supported accommodation projects based in
Ashford, Canterbury, Dover and Ramsgate and also
provide support for street homeless people across the county.
They provide a range of services supporting people with
complex needs such as mental ill health and have specific services
for young, vulnerable and homeless people.
