Community Emergency Plans
The aims and objectives of creating Community
Emergency Plans are to increase the readiness and resilience within
the local communities of the Ashford Borough.
It will both enable Parishes/Towns or other
community groups to support themselves when outside assistance from
the Emergency Services or Ashford Borough Council is delayed or
overwhelmed.
To help all local communities complete this,
we have provided a template document and guidance on how to
complete:
Community Emergency Plan Guidance - Ashford
Borough.
Community
Emergency Plan Template - Ashford
Borough.
Further information and help on how to prepare
for an Emergency in Kent can be found on the Kent Resilience
Forum's 'Kent Prepared' website:

If you are involved in a Parish or Town
Council and would like further information or assistance with
completing this for your local community, please contact Emergency
Planning at Ashford Borough Council on 01233 330389 or email
