Feedback will shape new site
Over 120 residents provided suggestions on how
to improve the Ashford Borough Council website and the feedback
will now be used to help shape the new look design.
The public consultation began in September and finished at the end
of October, generating 128 entries via the Have Your Say
consultation portal and face to face roadshows.
The main ideas included improving navigation and making residents
aware of what’s available online.
Cllr Robert Taylor, portfolio holder for core services, said: “We
are making improvements to our website to help make finding
information and using online services quicker and easier.
“We are pleased many residents took the time to provide useful and
relevant feedback, and we thank them for their contribution.”
Residents got involved by logging onto the council’s consultation
portal on the website and answering the short online survey and
filling in paper surveys at a public exhibition held in the County
Square.
