Ashford is leading the way in addressing the environmental impact of its growth plans according to a new report, Ashford’s Footprint: Now and in the Future, by Stockholm Environment Institute in association with WWF-UK and English Partnerships.
“Ashford Borough Council has no investment with Icelandic banks and we would like to reassure all of our residents that there will be no impact on the services we provide.”
Every year Ashford Borough Council holds a debate on a topic of importance to local people. This year the debate takes place on Thursday October 16 and will focus on the Ashford Sustainable Community Strategy, a document that sets out the vision for the borough for the next 10 years.
