Landscape Character SPD
The aim of the Landscape Character Supplementary Planning
Document (SPD) is to promote regard for the landscape and to ensure
new development makes a positive contribution to the landscape,
including its key characteristics and features in which it is
located.
The draft Landscape Character SPD was
subject to a period of six weeks public consultation from Thursday
16th December 2010 to Friday 4th February 2011. All comments made,
can be be viewed in the
Councils Consultation Portal.
The final document was adopted by the Council on the 28th April
2011 and is available to view and download below.
Adoption Statement
We are required to produce the following
statement as part of the Town and Country Planning (Local
Development)(England) Regulations 2004.
