Ashford Town Centre Development Framework ( TCDF )

The TCDF sets out what kind of place the town centre should become by 2031. It is led by a vision and defines objectives for sustainable growth and regeneration of the town centre. It also outlines significant projects, phasing, delivery, and an implementation programme to guide regeneration and development.

The Greater Ashford Development Framework ( GADF )

The GADF is the key-supporting document to Ashford's Local Development Framework, and has informed the preparation of the Core Strategy 'Preferred Options' report, by explaining and justifying the preferred option and highlighting others considered. The GADF reflects findings from an extensive programme of consultation events, studies and plan-making decisions undertaken during the course of 2004 and early 2005. It is important to bear in mind that this document covers the period to 2031, whilst the Local Development Framework covers the period to 2021.

The full GADF report can be purchased in hard copy format at a cost to businesses of £50 plus £5 p&p. Local residence and voluntary or community groups can purchase a copy at a discounted price of £10 plus £5 p&p. A CD copy of the GADF is included within the price. CD's of the GADF are available to purchase separately for £5 inc. p&p, and are available from the Customer Contact Centre, Civic Centre, Tannery Lane, Ashford.
