Renting a Garage
We have garages available to rent in a number of areas. In
some places there are garages that are available immediately,
in other areas you may have to join a waiting list until a vacancy
becomes available.
When allocating garages we use a date order
system. Priority is given to those who are currently
council tenants, however many garages are rented to private tenants
where there are vacancies.
We will not offer you a garage to rent if you are in arrears
with your rent. In addition we will terminate your garage tenancy
if you allow arrears to accrue on your property or your garage.
Garage rent is payable monthly in advance and we prefer that you
pay by monthly direct debit.

How much does a garage cost to rent?
We have two different rental rates for our garages that is
dependant upon their location.
From April 2010 the weekly rent for our garages are either £7.18
or £8.13 for one of our Council Tenants and £8.44 (£7.18+VAT) or
£9.55 (8.13+VAT) for everyone else.
To apply for a garage you need to complete a Garage Application Form
