Orbital Park Parking Consultation

The Orbital Park Parking Consultation took place between Tuesday 23rd December 2008 and Friday 23rd January 2009.

The aim of these proposals is to:

  • reduce the risk to persons and traffic
  • improve the flow of traffic, particularly for service vehicles and emergency services

Following the completion of the consultation, a report entitled 'Orbital Park On-Street Parking Review' was prepared by Officers and considered by the Joint Transportation Board at their meeting of Tuesday 3rd March 2009. The Board recommended to the Executive that the proposals be implemented and the Executive subsequently approved the proposals at their meeting of Thursday 26th March 2009.
