Tenterden Parking Consultation 2007
We are continuing to finalise plans to make parking in Tenterden
and St Michaels safer and strike a balance between the needs of
householders, visitors and businesses.
Ashford Borough Council is proposing to divide the ward into
four new zones in an attempt to improve the environment and make
parking more convenient and safe while relieving the congestion
problem.
After a final round of consultation in April 2007 the council has
decided to comission a further parking survey in the town centre in
response to concerns from traders. A full report will be
considered later this summer.
