Port Lympne Wild Animal
Park
Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, near Ashford, is set in 600 acres
of Kent countryside and incorporates the historic mansion and
landscaped gardens with spectacular views of Romney Marsh.
It also houses the largest breeding herd of black rhino outside
Africa as well as Siberian and Indian tigers, African hunting dogs,
small cats, monkeys, Malayan tapirs, Barbary lions and many more
rare and endangered species.
Exciting features at Port Lympne include an ‘African Experience’
safari trail, where animals roam free as if on the plains of
Africa. See rhino, giraffe, zebra and wildebeest aboard our
specially commissioned trucks. Stop off en-route for a drink and a
snack at the Watering Hole Restaurant and explore the diversity of
the habitats of many reptiles and insects from around the globe, in
the new Discovery Zone.
