Face to Face
If you would like to visit us we have two customer service
centres, one in Ashford town, one in Tenterden,
both providing one stop shop access to Council services.
The Civic Centre in particular is designed and furnished to make
your visit as comfortable as possible with minimum wait
periods. Queries and enquiries will be dealt with sensitively
and confidentially. Rooms are available if you
require complete privacy. The Civic Centre
also offers automated payment kiosk facilities.

Telephone
You can call us on 01233 331111 and our
Customer Service Agents will be able to deal with most of your
enquiries and queries. Our well trained staff have access to
all necessary systems and where they cannot help, will transfer you
to appropriate officers within the council. You can also pay
certain bills by telephone including Council Tax, Debtor
Accounts and Car Parking Fines.
If you know the name of the officer you want to talk to, then
you can use our Speak@Ease voice recognition telephone system to
make contact. The Speak@Ease system can be accessed
through the normal contact number or by dialling 01233
330838 directly.
We never want you to hang on unnecessarily, so our telephone
systems allow you to request a call back as well as providing up to
the minute information that may direct you elsewhere on
this website or offer information on current topics.
Our Call Centre is open Monday to Thursday 8.30am to
5.30pm and between 8.30am to 5pm on Fridays.

You can also email our Customer
Service Team. We will respond to your enquiry within
three working days of it being received. If you have not had
a reply or acknowledgement from us after three working days, please
resend your message with additional contact details to help us
communicate with you.

You can of course write to us. If you have received
