Planning Enforcement Policies
Ashford Borough Council recognises the importance of
establishing effective controls over unauthorised development to
assist in the conservation of the natural and built environment and
to protect the quality of people’s lives. The integrity of the Town
and Country Planning process depends on the Council’s readiness to
take enforcement action against unauthorised development when it is
in the public interest to do so.
