Key Objectives (KOs):

  • Promote good community relations
  • Celebrate cultural diversity
  • Promote equality through service delivery
  • Promote equality through a representative workforce

 

Key Measures of Success (KMS):

  • Equality objectives contained within all corporate and service plans
  • Setting performance targets in relations to the objectives within individual equality strategies
  • Consultation with the community over the setting of targets
  • Performance measurement against objectives
  • Increased awareness within the community
  • Evaluation of the effectiveness of the targets and strategies

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • BV2a: The Level of the Equality Standard for local government to which the Authority conforms in respect of gender, race and disability.
