Transparency
Ashford Borough Council is committed to being open and
transparent and we follow the code of recommended practice for
local authorities on data transparency.
Welcome to our transparency pages where you
can find out how the council spends your money.
Quarter by Quarter Spend
The following data is from the Council’s
Finance System and contains details of expenditure over £500,
including:
- The total amount
- Supplier name
- The service area that the expenditure is linked to
- The type of expense
- Date the invoice was paid
- Transaction number – generated by our system
The council is the accountable body for Government growth
area funding, and pays claims for projects on behalf of the
relevant lead body, e.g. Ashford’s Future Company, Southeastern,
Kent County Council, etc. These payments are included and described
as 'Ashford Growth Fund' under expense code.
