Investor in People Status
“Investors in People” is a national quality standard that sets a
level of good practice for improving an organisation’s performance
through its people. It is awarded to organisations that show a
strong commitment to supporting the development of their staff,
through extensive communication, involvement and training and
development.
The focus is on continuous improvement and organisations are
regularly assessed to make sure that they continue to meet the
standard.
Ashford Borough Council first achieved this award in July 2000
and has successfully retained recognition since then.
