Community and Living

With a fast-growing growing population of 110,000 and counting, Ashford is a borough that offers something for everyone.

We are the Borough's biggest landlord with some 5,000 council homes, 1,900 garages and 2,000 housing applicants and in this section of the website you will find information on our tenant services.  We can help you with finding a home whether you are buying, renting privately, or looking for council and housing association properties.

These pages include information on the dozens of voluntary and community groups we work with to include quality of life in the borough. There is also information on our services for young people, older citizens, homeless and disabled people.

You can find out about council tax and calculate any benefits you may be entitled to.

All Government public service information for home and community is available on the Directgov website.
