  Around 60 skateboarders and BMX riders came to Sk8side last Sunday afternoon, 20 July,2008, to take part in the Active Ashford Urban Sports Collective Event.

• School Wins Safety Award
  Brook Community Primary School were presented with their prize last Friday 11 July, after winning the Safety In Action Fortnight prize for the second year running.
• Little Burton Youth Facilities
  The Little Burton Neighbourhood Youth Forum turned their ‘hoop dreams’ into a reality when their plans to improve local facilities for young people resulted in a basketball court and shelter being built on the village playing fields.
