You can pay online by Debit Card (if you are clearing the
outstanding balance then Credit Cards are accepted) via our
online
payments facility.
Telephone
Payments using Credit and Debit cards can be made 24 hours a day
using our automated telephone payment system.
Telephone 01233 330625 and follow the instructions. Please
ensure you have your account or reference number when calling.
Direct Debit
If you wish to pay by direct debit please telephone our
Revenues Service on 01233 331111 who can set the direct debit up
over the telephone or send out a form. Alternatively, the
form can be viewed and printed by clicking on the

BACS Transfer
You can make payments direct from your bank account by quoting
Account Number: 74313363, Sort code: 60-01-21 and your Business
Rates Account number as the Reference.
By Post
Please make cheques payable to Ashford Borough Council and send
payments to Ashford Borough Council, P.O. Box 393, Ashford Kent
TN23 1WB. Please include your Business Rates reference number
on the back of the cheque. If a receipt is required for your
payment please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
Standing Order
If you choose this option you must make your own arrangements
with your Bank or Building Society, which must be in accordance
with the payment amounts and dates shown on your bill, ensuring
they quote your account reference.
Is there anything else I need to know?
Please ensure that the correct reference number is quoted when
using all methods of payment otherwise we may not be able to
allocate the funds directly to your account.
If you decide to pay online, by standing order, or if
you send a cheque through the post, it will take around 4
working days before we receive your payment. We do not know that
you have paid until we receive your money and may
start recovery action if you have paid later than the due date
shown on your bill.
If you have forgotten to pay and your due date has
passed, please pay immediately by debit card over the
telephone.
