Energy Grant 500

This scheme is aimed at improving energy efficiency in businesses. Its benefits include:

  • Reducing energy costs
  • Encouraging staff involvement in energy retention
  • Support for projects costing over £500

 

This grant is worth £500 and businesses who have an annual energy spend of between £1,500 and £30,000 are eligible to apply. Companies must be based in the South East of England.

 

If the business is eligible for the grant they will be provided with an energy meter to measure energy consumption before and after the energy efficiency project. Once the necessary documentation has been completed a cheque will be sent to the business.

Remade South East

Remade South East is a not-for-profit company which helps to divert valuable waste away from landfill into new products and end-uses and recycling schemes.

 

Remade works with businesses, public organisations and community groups in the South East region to find practical solutions to challenging waste issues. Working with a range of local, regional and national partners, Remade seeks to minimise the region's environmental footprint by saving natural resources and reducing CO2 emissions.

Carbon Trust

The Carbon Trust provides specialist support to business and the public sector to help cut carbon emissions, save energy and commercialise low carbon technologies. They have two aims, firstly cutting carbon emissions now and secondly cutting future carbon emissions.

 

The Carbon Trust also offers 0% Interest on business loans of £3,000 - £100,000 which are available from the Carbon Trust to help organisations finance and invest in energy saving projects. These loans are government funded and unsecured with a straightforward and fast application process with no arrangement fees.
