Tender Evaluation
The Council will award the contract to the tenderer offering the
most economically advantageous tender. Tenderers are asked to note
that tenders will be evaluated on specific criteria. Some examples
include:
Best Value
Consistency with the Council's environmental objectives
The Contractors proven technical ability
The financial background and viability of the Contractor
Tender price
Innovative flair and partnership approach in taking advantage of
new technology and working methods
The Contractors willingness to contribute towards environmental
improvements
The proposed method and quality of service delivery
The sufficiency of staffing and other resources
The Contractors compliance with tender documentation
The Contractors Health and Safety Statement

In certain works and services the provision of the Transfer of
Undertaking Regulations and the provision of the Acquired Rights
Directive may apply and staff may transfer.
