Fairgrounds
There are currently two areas of council land
which are suitable for circuses and funfairs.
- North Park at the Civic Centre, Ashford
- Victoria Park, Ashford
Fees are payable and special conditions
applicable for circuses and funfairs wishing to use Council land.
One of the conditions is that the organisers that must arrange
Public Liability Insurance cover in the sum of at least £5 million
for any one accident for the period of the use of the site and
evidence of such insurance must be produced to the Council.
A daily rate is charged according to whether
it is an operating or non operating day, and a holding fee is also
payable.
