Goat Lees Youth Space

Ashford Borough Council wants to improve facilities in Goat Lees for young people - and we need your feedback on what is needed!

We have some funding to provide new facilities for young people in the area, and are looking at improvements that will provide young people with a safe place to hang out and have fun.

Equipment could include a kickabout area, youth shelter, buddy swing and outdoor gym equipment. We aim to have the youth space up and running by autumn 2012.

The best place for new youth facilities is next to the current play area, as shown on the maps below (click images to enlarge).

We want your ideas, whether you are 11 or 60!  Everyone has something to say and all views are valued. Below are some images of potential facilities to spark your creative juices, but please feedback other ideas too.

Please take our survey and tell us what you think, and what you want for young people in Goat Lees!

Join Our Youth Project Group

We want to give young people the chance to share ideas and have a say on the choices for their new facilities. If you are aged 11-19, and want to be part of a youth project group, which will make decisions about what equipment is installed and where, please tick the box on the survey.

If you have any questions please contact SallyAnne.logan@ashford.gov.uk or 01233 330 293.
