Council Tax

At Ashford Borough
Council we are proud of our record of
setting Council Tax rates consistently among the lowest in the
South East.
Although we collect the tax on behalf of other
organisations such as Kent County Council, Kent Police, the Fire
and Rescue Service and parish councils, we only keep around 10
per cent to help pay for services we offer including refuse
collection, planning, street cleaning and building
control.
The amount of Council Tax you pay depends on
where you live within the borough, the value of your property and
your personal circumstances.
