Debt & Money Advice

If you are experiencing any problems with debt such as credit card or mortgage arrears, you can now get advice on debt and money management through the Housing Plus service available at the Ashford and Tenterden Gateways.

Ashford Borough Council have teamed up with the Ashford Citizens Advice Bureau to provide a new debt advice service.  This free service is available both to people who have seen a Housing Options Officer for advice or for anyone who needs advice on debt and money issues.

Citizens Advice offer an initial interview at the Ashford Gateway to find out exactly what problems you are facing and this is then followed up with a more detailed budgeting and financial help and advice.

The new debt and money advice service is an enhancement to the court related help that Citizens Advice already provide which can assist people facing repossession.

The debt and money advice service is available at the Ashford and Tenterden Gateways:

Ashford Gateway

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9.30 til 12.30

Tenterden Gateway
