The Local Land Charges Register can be viewed between the 29th
and 30th December but the request to view must be received by email
before 3pm on Friday 23rd December.
Changes to Personal Search Appointments - 18 July 2011.
Personal Search? Why not.........
...request an LLC1 for as little as £35. The results
would include all charges relative to the site in
question, including conditional planning permissions.
As of 18 July 2011, our Customer Contact Centre will be moving
to the new Ashford
Gateway Plus and therefore changes are being made to our Civic
Centre reception
area.
Meeting Room D in the reception
area of the Civic Centre will still be available for
you to inspect the Local Land
Charges register as before but, due to a reduction in
space, it will be necessary to
revert to making specific 30 minute appointments.
Therefore, please remember from 18
July 2011 you will only be able to view the
Register within your allocated time
period. These details will be confirmed on your
e-mail acknowledgement.

these alterations may cause.
Personal Search Statutory Fee revoked by Government.
We received direction yesterday (29 July 2010) advising of
Governments conclusion that charging for a personal search of
the Local Land Charges Register is incompatible with the
Environmental Information Regulations 2004 and the underlying 2003
EU Directive. The Government is therefore revoking the
current £22 fee by amending the Local Land Charges Rules
1977. The amendment will come into force on 17 August
2010.
However, we have stopped this charge with immediate
effect.
