We currently offer mandatory Disabled Facilities Grants only.

The provision of grant aid requires the support of an Occupational Therapist from Kent County Council Social Services. Kent County Council can be contacted directly on 0845 330 2967 (Occupational Therapy – Duty and Assessment).

The local authority offers a comprehensive help and advice service in respect of home improvements generally and also supports the Ashford Home Improvement Agency - the local home improvement agency which assists older, vulnerable and disabled owner-occupiers undertake improvements, repairs and adaptations, enabling them to remain in their own homes in comfort, safety and with independence.
