Search Update Service

We appreciate property sales are not always straight forward and therefore currently offer an update service for searches less than six months old.

 

What is the fee?  £35.00

 

How do I apply?  Applications can be made by letter or email to land.charges@ashford.gov.uk, quoting the original search reference and property details*.

 

What happens next?  We will process the request as if it were a standard search but will respond by letter or email, formally certifying that all replies are the same or indicating any changes/additions.

 

Please do not send the original or a copy back to us We keep a duplicate copy and therefore indicating the search number is sufficient.

 

*Applications must be made by the same solicitors that carried out the original search.
