National Land Information Service
The National Land Information Service (NLIS) enables solicitors and
licensed conveyancers to submit Local Authority Searches
online. Search requests are submitted on electronic
forms to the
NLIS hub, who
then forward the requests to the relevant Local
Authority.
Local Authorities can choose to participate at one of three
levels offered by NLIS; level three
allowing a fully electronic service i.e sending and receiving
electronically.
We are now at Level 3 of the National Land Information
Service, enabling us to receive and return Local Land Search
applications electronically to the central
NLIS
hub.
In order to submit a search via NLIS, you will need
to be registered with one of the Licensed NLIS Channel
Providers.
Current Licensed NLIS Channel
Providers:
- Jordans Limited
- Searchflow
- TM Property Service Limited
