Special Educational Needs

Kent County Council, as Local Education Authority is responsible for the support and advice for all children with special educational needs within the borough.

The primary function of the Special Educational Needs Assessment team is to co-ordinate the assessment of pupils with special educational needs, allocate appropriate provision to meet those needs and review their progress.

All schools offer support to some extent for those children with special educational needs.  See our schools webpage for more information.
