Ashford Community Network

Ashford Community Network (ACN) is a ‘family of networks’ bringing together key voluntary organisations and community leaders from across the borough. ACN meets regularly on a variety of subjects of interest to its members. One of ACN’s key roles is to act as a single point of contact for the borough’s VCS when needed by statutory and private sector agencies and the media.  We also champion VCS interests at strategic level and aim to represent the VCS voice in the planning process for Ashford’s Future.

Our aims are to

ACN also works hard to raise the profile of the VCS so that partners and the public understand how important voluntary and community organisations are.  We also support local ethnic community groups through Ashford International Association.

ACN is a charitable company limited by guarantee.  We are led by a voluntary board.

Membership of ACN is free and open to any voluntary or community organisation operating in Ashford borough.
