Biography
Cllr. Aline Hicks was elected to the Borough
Council in May 2007. Born in Brighton, Aline lived in
Tonbridge and Dover before moving to Stubbs Cross near Shadoxhurst
in 1983.
Aline has two children and three delightful
grandchildren. She is interested in youth development and the
CARM (Caring All Together
on Romney Marsh) project, and is also a governor at the local
primary school. Aline has a wide variety of interests and
used to show English Setters but is now involved with their rescue
charity.
Cllr. Hicks is concerned that we protect and
enhance our rural areas, that there should be sensitive development
of the new urban areas and especially that we should promote family
values.
