Biography
Born in 1985 in Hackney, London, Cllr Howard became the youngest
Councillor on Ashford Borough Council in the last local
elections.
Cllr Howard’s family came to Ashford in 1989 and after attending
Mersham Primary and the Norton Knatchbull School, he gained a place
at the University of Kent at Canterbury where he graduated in 2007.
Now working for a local company in East Kent he has been given the
important responsibility of being a representative for Stour Ward.
This is a wonderful privilege as it includes Cllr Howard’s former
school and a wide range of diversity across the Ward including the
Ashford Asian Society.
He enjoys playing Bowls, listening to any music with a good
guitar and watching American sports. Cllr Howard’s aim in the
Council is to ensure Ashford really does become the best place to
live in the future and that young people can be involved within the
community.
