Biography

Cllr Wedgbury is a 43 year old fireman who has served in the fire service for 23 years. He is married to Jenny who runs Little Acorns baby and toddler group at Kingsnorth Recreation Centre and has two children who attend Furley Park Primary School.

He has been a Parish Councillor for eight years serving on Kingsnorth Parish Council for the past six years. He has been the Borough Councillor for Park Farm South for four years since the ward was created.

Cllr Wedgbury became a Councillor for the same reasons as wanting to be a fireman; trying to help the community and making the area where people live better for all. For example he managed to get a teenage shelter on the Moat so that local teenagers had a place to meet and which they had ownership over.

Cllr Wedgbury will always try to help people but he is aware that this is not always possible and on occasions people may not be satisfied. He is a member of a number of Committees shown above.
