e-billing: Ashford Borough Council

Sign up to paperless billing and be in with a chance to win £500. Image shows close up of a slice of vanilla cake with white frosting and two fresh raspeberries on top. Fancy winning £500 for five minutes work?

Well, who wouldn’t!

And that’s genuinely what we’re offering you the chance of winning if you sign up to receive your council tax bill by email (known as e-billing) today.

Did you know that every bill we send out by post costs us around 50p? But ask yourself, do you actually look at it once you’ve seen what the charge is? (By the way, we set the lowest council tax in Kent). Or do you just file it away, or even shred it?

So, save us 50p and we might give you £500! Here’s how!

To save us time, paper and money – not to mention the trees – we’re asking you to sign up to receive your council tax bill by email. If you do so before 30 April, we’ll enter you into a prize draw to win one of two prizes of £500.

It’s the modern way. You probably already receive your utility bills by email. Plus you’ll be helping to keep council tax low

Already signed up for e-billing ages ago? Then good news, you’re already entered! And thank you, you’re one of 4,500 households who’ve taken that decision! That’s already saving us £2,250 that can be spent on other services. But we have over 50,000 accounts, so think of the money that can be saved.

So, sign up today for e-billing and be in with a chance of winning £500.
