Flytipping

FlytippingThe flytipping of waste is illegal, and we work closely with other organisations including Kent County Council, Trading Standards, the Environment Agency and Police to ensure those responsible for fly tipping are dealt with.

Large fines will be given to those responsible for flytipping and those who have failed to treat their waste correctly.  Working closely with the Kent County County Environmental Crime Unit, the last case resulted in the person responsible being fined in excess of £2,000

Before you allow anyone to remove your waste you must ensure they are registered with the Environment Agency as a 'Carrier of Waste' and that they give you a Waste Transfer Note for the waste they are removing.

To report a flytipping incident use our online form or telephone 01233 331111.
