Bulky Item Collection

We will collect bulky domestic waste including furniture, white goods, electrical appliances and most other items that you would expect to take with you if you were moving house.  (We cannot take DIY material, or builders waste)

Items are normally only collected from upon the property at a point next to the public foot/highway.  The disabled or infirm can make special arrangements when booking.

These service conditions do not apply to Housing Associations, Commercial and Industrial businesses, Letting Agencies and Landlords, call 01233 331111 for advice.

Cost

There is a minimum, non-refundable, charge of £20.50, payment required at time of booking.  The overall cost will be based on the number and volume of items being collected. Use our Online Bulk Collection Calculator to estimate your collection cost.

If you would prefer, you can take your waste to The Tip (Kent County Council Household Waste and Recycling Centre).

The nearest Trade Waste site is Hawkinge Waste Transfer Station, Junction 12 off the M20, telephone 01303 891288.
