The Household Waste and Recycling Centre is open from 8am until
4.30pm Monday to Saturday. It is open from 9am until 4pm on
Sundays and Bank Holidays, the centre is not open Christmas Day,
Boxing Day and New Years Day.

There is a 2 metre (6ft 6in) height barrier at the entrance to the
site and no commercial vehicles are allowed into the site.
There are facilities for the safe disposal of asbestos, toxic
materials such as garden chemicals, pesticides and other chemicals
that may be found in the garden shed (you will be requested to
complete a form when these items are taken into the site), nickel
cadmium batteries (from mobile telephones etc), gas bottles,
fridges and freezers.
There are also containers for general household waste, and
recycling containers for: scrap metals, car batteries, dry cell
batteries, ink jet cartridges/toner cartridges, newspapers and
magazines, glass, books, spectacles, green waste,
hardcore/soil, tyres, textiles, engine oil, plasterboard, CRT's
(TV's and Computer Monitors), foil, drink cans, cardboard/paper
The are no facilities to dispose of commercial waste at this
centre, to obtain details of the nearest commercial waste disposal
point, please contact the
