Health and Safety at Work
Ashford Borough Council's Environmental Health Service is
responsible for the enforcement of health and safety legislation in
a number of non industrial premises such as:
- Shops
- Offices
- Warehouses
- Restaurants
- Hotels
- Places of entertainment
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are responsible
for industrial and high risk premises. Further
information on enforcement responsibilities can be found on
the HSE's website.
