Indoor Bowls Centre (Victoria Park)
Indoor bowls is one of the country's fastest-growing sports with
more than 330 clubs in England and an active membership of 110,000
men and 54,000 women covering all ages from seven to 80 years
old.
The centre is a state of the art six-rink facility. There are
leagues and tournaments (international, national and local) for
seniors, under-25s, juniors, wheelchair-bound and other less
able-bodied competitors. Apart from the sport, itself, many of the
clubs have an active social calendar which attracts thousands of
extra non-playing friends and family; making well run clubs very
commercially successful.
