Funding

Funding for sport is available through a wide range of sources, including the National Lottery. Funding is usually linked to developments which create or extend sport opportunities. You can apply for funding for sports activities (such as equipment, training or events), buildings and facilities.

County, Regional and National Funding

There are a number of county, regional, and national funding programmes, all of which can be accessed through visiting the Kent Sports Development Unit website.


Cricket

Case Studies

Study 1

Tenterden Cricket Club recently were awarded funding from the Community Grants Scheme to go towards a lawn mower to cut the outfield and wicket at their club.

 

In the past the club had also received funding towards a new pavilion.  The club were recently given the Clubmark Accreditation.

Study 2Tennis

Wye Tennis Club recently received funding from the Community Grants scheme to go towards refurbishing  the pavilion and tennis courts.

 

Wye has a long and established junior and senior sections.
