Telecare Emergency Card
The Telecare Emergency Card is run by Ashford Borough Council’s
Monitoring Centre which has been looking after the people of
Ashford for over 20 years. The Monitoring Centre is a 24/7
operation.
You credit card style card will be issued to you together with a
unique PIN number and a dedicated phone number which will be
embossed on the card, no personal details are shown on the card.
All details about you are held on a secure data base and will only
be passed over to the emergency services. Ashford Borough Council
adheres to the 1998 Data Protection Act. All staff working within
the centre are all fully trained, licensed and undergo full Police
vetting, so you can be rest assured that your details will remain
safe at all times.
Anyone can benefit from carrying a Telecare Emergency
Card.
