If You Don't Pay On Time

Your council tax bill is normally payable in ten monthly instalments. These instalments start in April and finish in January. Your monthly payment is usually due on the first of the month. Your bill will provide your payment date.

You must pay your council tax on or before the due date shown on your bill. If you do not do so, we will take further recovery action. Information on how to pay can be found on the methods of payment page.

Alternatively, you can set up a direct debit to pay your council tax.
