Security advice for event organisers
South East Counter Terrorism Unit (SECTU) has produced an event guidance document for event organisers to help you understand what can be done to improve safety at events and decrease the likelihood of any attack.
This guidance includes advice on protecting your event from a vehicle being used as a weapon, instructions on what to do if you find a suspicious package at your event and points to consider in an event plan.
For further advice and guidance, please also visit the National Counter Terrorism Security Office, which is regularly updated.
