County Square Extension Opens

The County Square shopping centre extension opened on Thursday 20 March. More than double its size, the new centre compliments Ashford’s existing retail experience.

With the new look centre, Designer Outlet, Park Mall Shopping Centre and town centre shops; Ashford is set to become a shopping destination to rival anywhere in the South East.

The eagerly-anticipated County Square is nearly twice its original size and is home to fantastic new fashion retailers including Debenhams, Next, H&M, River Island, New Look and Jane Norman - revitalising the shopping experience in the town.

Debenhams, the flagship department store occupies the key corner site within the newly extended centre. The store will be Ashford’s only department store.

Getting to the revitalised shopping centre could not be easier thanks to a free shuttle bus service that will be running during the opening weekend on 20, 21 and 22 March.

The shuttle bus service will help visitors to get into County Square during the peak times from 10.30 to 6pm over the three days.

The buses will run every 15 minutes picking passengers up from the new temporary car park at Dover Place, which is just off of Station Road, as well as the Stour Centre car park, before dropping shoppers off in near by Tufton Street outside the Phoenix bar, which is also where they can catch the return shuttle bus.
