Live Literature in Ashford

Literature imageEast Kent Live Lit, a live literature network set up by the East Kent Local Arts Authority Partnership, will be running their first live event in Ashford on Thursday 2 October, at Oranges Bar and Café in Apsley Street.

 

East Kent Live Lit is for writers, artists, producers, promoters, venues and audiences in East Kent who want to engage with literature in a live context.

 

One of the aims of this scheme is to offer support, training and opportunities for anyone interested in live literature.

 

There are no required criteria to join and it’s free to participate.

 

There will be food on offer as well as the chance to network with other literature lovers.

 

Participants are encouraged to bring along materials to share their work.

 

This event for East Kent Live Lit is supported and funded by Ashford Borough Council.
