Soccer Schools Kick Off
Brazilian Soccer Schools and
Socatots, the football coaching programmes run by Ashford Borough
Council, are back for the new term with some exciting new
programmes on offer for the borough’s youngsters…and oldies!
Brazilian Soccer Schools, whose unique coaching methods are
enjoyed by around 400 children per week in Ashford, start their new
term of evening and Saturday morning sessions for 5 to 16 year olds
on Monday 8 September.
The 90 minute sessions offer great value at just £4. Please call
01233 896511 for full details.
New for this year, the Brazillian Soccer Schools have an
exciting new Freestyling course, running for 6 weeks from 15
September, with freestyler Jack Morison passing on the tricks of
the trade. The course cost is £25.
And if you’re looking for more personal tuition that can help to
make rapid improvements in ability, confidence and fitness, the
soccer schools are also offering Individual Coaching sessions,
teaching students on a one-to-one basis. This follows a very
successful pilot scheme that has been running over the summer. For
more information, please call 07867 506954.
And the fun is not just for youngsters with BSS now offering
Monday night sessions for adults. The 2 hour sessions are excellent
for fitness, maintaining or regaining skills and there’s also the
opportunity to be selected for Ashford’s Futsal team who will
compete in the Kent Futsal League this season.
For pre school children the popular Socatots programme begins
again on 8 September with midweek sessions at Sandyacres and
Saturdays at Courtside. The sessions offer the first introduction
to football skills in a fun environment where colour and number
recognition are also included in the unique syllabus. Call Emma on
01233 896511 for full details.
A completely free term of Socatots sessions is being offered to
non walkers aged 6 months and above on Monday mornings at
Courtside. To grab this fantastic opportunity email Ben
