Active Ashford, the Borough’s Sports Partnership Network, is offering one lucky youngster the chance to win a brand new bicycle by sending in a question for Olympic Gold Medal winning cyclist, Jamie Staff.

The bike, donated by Halfords, is on offer to the person who submits the most interesting question for Jamie and will be presented at a special event to be held on 15 October 2008, at the Ashford International Hotel.

The event has been organised as a celebration of Ashford’s sporting heroes and there will be a special award presented to Jamie Staff, in recognition of his achievement at the Beijing Olympics this year.

The competition is open to anyone under 16, with entries submitted online via the Active Ashford website.

The winner will get the chance to attend the event, with a parent or guardian, and be presented with their bike from Jamie Staff.

The closing date for entries is midnight, 5 October 2008.
