The South East's best new leisure destination, The Stour Centre, opened on Saturday 15 September.

Originally built in the early seventies, the remodelled Stour Centre provides much needed sport and leisure facilities to the rapidly-expanding population of Ashford borough and the surrounding area.

Set inside an iconic glazed building the new features include:

• Three brand new leisure, teaching and fitness pools
• Two 50-metre flumes and the thrilling Raging River experience
• Contours Health Club with a range of 100 new fitness machines
• Luxury jacuzzi, sauna and steam room
