SUDS SPD
The Sustainable Drainage (SUDS)
SPD
sets out how
developers can meet the requirement of Policy CS20 of the adopted
Core Strategy, which forms part of the Local Development Framework.
Guidance is provided on the provision of sustainable drainage
systems for the disposal of surface water and rainwater, so that it
is retained either on-site or within the immediate area.
The draft SUDS SPD was subject to a period of six weeks public
consultation from Tuesday 1st June 2010 to Tuesday 13th
July 2010. All comments made can be viewed in the
consultation portal.
The final document was adopted by the Council in October 2010
and is available to view and download below.
Adoption Statement
We are required to produce the following statement as part of
the Town and Country Planning (Local Development)(England)
Regulations 2004.
